Even though we're beauty experts, there are some talents that escape our skill set (we're editors not makeup artists). No matter how many palettes we buy or eyeliners we test, our eye makeup expertise is still elementary level.

But just like we learned to contour [1] and fill in our brows [2] from Instagram, these 15-second videos below seem to make applying eye shadow easier. It could be the close-up angle that allows us to visualize ourselves doing the exact same steps in a magnifying mirror. These social media makeup mavens have us inspired to try glitter and winged liquid liner, and we're not just talking about on weekends.
