Fergie and Wet n Wild Team Up to Support amfAR

If there's one woman who loves linking charity and cosmetics, it's Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, and she made that point abundantly clear during an appearance on Good Morning America this morning. Collaborating with Wet n Wild, the drugstore brand she already has a collection with, the singer has released a shade of lipstick dubbed Perfect Pout V.I.Pink ($3) to benefit the American Foundation For AIDS Research (aka amfAR). About 50 cents of each lipstick sold will benefit the foundation, which Fergie has been a supporter of for years.

Looking to the future, Fergie hopes to continue to bridge the gap between cosmetics and charity. "For me, it was really important to have a charitable component to my cosmetics line," Fergie, who collaborated with MAC's Viva Glam collection for charity in 2008, told WWD. Fergie will also be awarded the amfAR Award of Inspiration at the organization's third annual Inspiration Gala on April 5. Perfect Pout V.I.Pink is available now for anyone looking to do some good with their lipstick purchase.
