Alicia Keys's de facto makeup-free movement [2] is proving that there is strength in numbers. On Oct. 4, Gabrielle Union filmed a Snapchat story [3] that was a sweet nod to Keys and her latest no-makeup appearances [4].

Though Union frequently takes no-makeup selfies, like the one shown above, the Being Mary Jane star addressed Keys when she filmed herself saying, "No makeup, head wrap, hey, Alicia Keys, I see you!" In the video, Union's glowing skin, freckles, and adorable polka-dot wrap are all on display.

Union's Snapchat comes just days after Kim Kardashian attended the Balenciaga show [5] during Paris Fashion Week while also not wearing any makeup. While she's certainly someone who still likes makeup [6], it's encouraging to see celebrities take a break from their extensive beauty routines.
