Gisele Bündchen has the long, thick beachy-textured hair that women dream of. Heck, her gorgeous mane even landed her a gig with hair giant Pantene. So our jaws dropped to the floor when she showed off a sleek, side-parted buzz cut for the new Balenciaga campaign. It was shot by Steven Klein with Anthony Turner on the epic hair styling and makeup by Diane Kendal.
"This is how I see Gisele for Balenciaga; strong, powerful, mysterious, and uncompromising," Balenciaga artistic director Alexander Wang told WWD. "This season we worked with this idea of vanity, staged in a room filled with mirrors. But the cracked mirror is a continuing thread from the marble veins and creeping ivy leaves from seasons past."
Let's discuss: does Gisele's more masculine haircut fill Wang's vision of making the megamodel seem more androgynous and strong? Or do you prefer Gisele with lengthy, feminine flowing strands?
