When we reported on Bleach London's hair tapestry [1] last year, our Pinterest blew up with repins. Intrigued by the creation, it was time to take matters into our own hands — so weave we did.

Hair tapestry is, essentially, needlepoint for your hair. It's a lot of fun, and truth be told, it's therapeutic, too. (They should provide the activity at wellness retreats.) We paired up again [2] with our cronies at Mane Addicts, who brought in Michelle Borbolla of [3]The Gypsy Bazaar [4]. Michelle mastered the technique and told us a few tricks too, the first being: doing this on your own hair, unless it's down to your navel, is a bit difficult. So grab a friend, or use the ease of a clip-in extension — especially when going with an intricate design.
