How Much Makeup Women Use

Find Out How Much Makeup Other Women Really Wear

A few weeks back, we asked you how much makeup you actually wear, and now the results are in. Thousands of people responded, and you might be surprised at the answers other ladies gave. See all the stats for yourself now.

Ladies don't mind baring it all
A full 59 percent of our survey takers leave the house without makeup at least once in a while. Fifteen percent, however, say they're actually not wearing any makeup more often than not.

Mascara and concealer are key
When asked what one makeup item they're always wearing, 37 percent of people claimed mascara as their mainstay, with concealer coming in a close second and garnering 34 percent of the vote. The least-used product? Blush, which only six percent of people loved best.

Half a dozen products a day is average
If you've ever felt like a guilty makeup junkie because you use multiple products a day, don't worry so much. Forty percent of respondents use between four and six products on a daily basis, and another 28 percent use even more than that. Granted, this is a beauty site, but you're not alone regardless.

Products rarely get finished
If you're promising yourself that you're going to go all the way through that new tube of mascara or pan of powder, more power to you. Fifty-three percent of survey takers only make it all the way through a product once in a while, and then only if it's something they truly love. So next time you have the choice between buying a full size or a travel size, maybe consider going smaller.
