We're pretty much constantly impressed by Huda Kattan, be it due to her flawless makeup launches [1] or incredible sculpting skills (tape contouring [2], anyone?). But her recent YouTube tutorial has taken our adoration for the beauty guru to the next level.

Just in time for the back-to-school season, she demonstrated how to substitute school supplies for a full face of makeup. While this sounds like it could result in a beauty nightmare, Huda makes it look easy — and damn good. Using a clever hack of fellow vlogger Natalies Outlet's [3], she transformed a common colored pencil into a remarkably pigmented eyeliner. She also whipped up bespoke foundation, blush, contouring, and highlighter shades using a watercolor paint palette.

While we might not recommend re-creating this look on the daily — it can't be all that good for your skin — the video offers some very handy tips if you happen to forget your makeup bag. Watch and pick up a few tricks!
