January Jones at 2010 Costume Institute Gala

The Met's Costume Institute Gala: January Jones

Seeing that it's the Costume Institute Gala, we're trained to expect the nontraditional, and January Jones is one of the few that has truly delivered on that front. Wearing a palette of blue eye shadows, the actress's makeup look is both whimsical and edgy, and she wears her hair loosely pulled back to let those standout eyes take center stage. But do you think her overall style is a winner, or is it just simply weird? Vote now.

yeah; I'm not blaming January - I just don't understand what makeup artist could allow a client to go out in public looking like this! if it had just stopped below the brow bone; it might have been fine. but to apply the shadow all the way up makes her look a little crazy...

i think if she was going to go for a bold look she should have done a little bit more eye make up. It looks more like a bad makeup job than a bold statement

Even for the Met CI Gala I think this is awful. I think this is for runway only where people are only going to be seeing you from far away.

A little too haute couture for my taste but that's what the Met's about
