Paris is the high cathedral of haute looks, one of the cities where fashion is as much a fine art as a business, but clothes aren't the only quotidian part of getting ready that the designing minds take to creative extremes. Looking at the hairstyles from Jean Paul Gaultier's collection this morning, I was reminded just how much an art hairstyling can be in the right hands and what a vital form of self-expression it is for many people. But what do you think? Should we appreciate hairstyling as an art, the same way we do sculpture or theater, or is that just silly?
