For Jenny Packham, the Disco Days Are Back
The greatest disco moments of the '70s were back on the Jenny Packham runway for Spring 2014 with an Edwardian twist, which were both seen in the clothing collection and beauty look.
Talia Shobrook for Laura Mercier used the Radiance Foundation Primer ($32) followed by tinted moisturizer to illuminate the face. She then applied Cheek Contour in Sunrise ($24), and finished with silver glitter scattered on the eyes. The nails by Gina Edwards also had a touch of sparkle with Essie Eternal Optimist ($8) topped with Allure ($8). "The key to glitter is you never want to take a full brush because it's just going to be a blob," she explained.
The hair was a definite nod to the disco era with big, backcombed curls. Lead stylist Jeanie Syfu curled each model's hair using Tresemmé Thermal Creations Curl Activator Spray ($5) and varying sized irons. The hair was set with pins, and then teased right before the girls hit the runway.
