Jessica Biel [1]'s dreamy long locks are always a focal point of her beauty look during award season, but at the Golden Globes this year, Jessica decided to debut a faux bob, and we're into it.
The Sinner actress made her red carpet appearance with husband, Justin Timberlake [2], wearing black in protest against sexual harassment [3] in the industry. For this year's beauty look, Jessica's hairstylist, Adir Adergel gave her an elegant low ponytail, wound with thick black thread. Adir started with Virtue Polish Un-Frizz Cream [4] ($40) to tame then strays, followed by GHD Air Professional Performance Hairdryer [5] ($199) to smooth the hair. After the pony was secured Virtue Finale Shaping Spray [6] ($36) was used to keep everything in place.
From the front, it looked as if Jessica had a bob, but after seeing her hairstyle from the side, we know it was all just a pretty illusion.
For her makeup, artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua was inspired by Sophia Loren and Elizabeth Taylor's matte-pink lips. Kara used Chanel Le Rouge Crayon de Couleur in Rose Délicat [7] ($37) to fill the lips, then added Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet en La Diva [8] ($37). Jessica's classic 1950's cat eye was created using Chanel Le Crayon Yeux en Mat Taupe [9] ($33) to line and followed this with Chanel 4 Ombres Tisse Essentiel [10] ($61) to set the color. Her look was finished off with statement Bulgari earrings.
Here's what we've learned from Jessica's Golden Globes look: she looks as fabulous as everyone else in black, and she can pull off a bob like she was born to do it. We definitely approve.
