Jin Soon Matte Maker Review

What We're Sweet On: A Matte Polish That Still Has Sheen

I'm am a nail polish addict, but the one trend I never caught onto were matte top coats. But since the dawn of the first polish mattifier, there have been many iterations, and I've finally found my dream formula: JinSoon Matte Maker ($18). Like me, manicurist Jin Soon Choi was not a fan of shine-free top coats, because she likes to have her nails look finished. When she was working on a nail polish collaboration with Tibi for its Fall 2013 show, Choi finally mastered her ideal matte top coat. Matte Maker creates a satin-like finish, so your nail still looks polished without the gloss. It's all thanks to the superfine particles that create the matte effect. Swipe it on your jewel-tone polish for a Fall-ready look.
