A 17-year-old makeup artist [2] has stunned us with her skill and devotion to hip-hop music. Sarah Khan from Houston is taking inspiration from rap albums and creating incredible eye makeup artwork. She started with inspiration from one of her favorite artists, Kanye West. "I love Kanye and I love makeup so I thought it would be so cool to put two of my favorites together and create makeup looks inspired by my favorite artists' album covers," she told BuzzFeed News [3].
Her creations have become incredibly popular on Twitter [4] and have been retweeted thousands of times by makeup and hip-hop enthusiasts alike. Sarah told Cosmopolitan.com [5] that after looking at an album cover for inspiration, she tries to match up the colors with her favorite makeup tools. "My go-to beauty products are definitely Morphe eye shadow palettes, NYC liquid eyeliner, LA Girl Pro Conceal concealers, and Vegas Nay Grand Glamour lashes," she said.
