Get ready, Kat Von D fans! According to the beauty brand's official Instagram account, a brand-new shade of the cult-favorite liquid lipsticks is launching today. The hue, a vampy deep berry, is named Miss Argentina and is the perfect grungy color for women who are sick of Spring pastels.
While some sites report that this is an homage to the movie Beetlejuice (remember the Neitherworld's receptionist?), we'd argue that Kat is also giving a little shout-out to her own heritage. In case you forgot, the makeup maven and tattoo artist was born in Mexico to parents of Argentinian descent [2].
It's unclear whether or not Miss Argentina is part of the brand's Everlasting Flash Sale series (in which the brand offers early access to new liquid lipstick shades for a limited time at the beginning of each month). Typically, this special advance sale takes place on the first Wednesday of every month, so it's possible that Kat Von D is switching things up for April!
