Summer beauty releases are in full swing, as made evident by Kat Von D's newest offering, the Shade + Light Eye Glimmer Palette ($49). We knew this palette was coming [2], but now we can see the the finished product and swatches via Instagram. We also learned there is a release date. The metallic version of the brand's beloved neutral Shade + Light Palette will be available first on July 11 at Sephora.com and expanding to stores on July 13.
The palette comes in four finishes: metallic pearl, reflexive glitter, "Glimmer" top coat, and satin. From the looks of the swatches, Glimmer shades come in a wide range: ivory, champagne, taupe, bronze, and cocoa are all pictured. Some are flashier than others, and this definitely seems like a versatile set that can be utilized for many styles.
It also has a unique finish. The blendable, triple-milled powders run the gamut from subtle to shiny. And according to the brand's caption, "It's not glitter and it's not shimmer . . . it's glimmer." Sounds gorgeous!
