On Sunday, our favorite TV stars took to the red carpet for the 2016 Emmys [1] with a variety of stunning looks, but Kerry Washington's takes the crown [2]. The 39-year-old Scandal actress had heads turning as she debuted a look we rarely see from her — voluminous curls. Typically keeping her hair sleek and straight, Kerry switched it up for what could potentially be her top maternity style.

"When it came to styling her hair, it was all about the cutouts and her baby bump," Kerry's longtime hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew explained. "I really wanted the hair to stand out and that's why I styled it with a lot of texture while still showing her face with the middle part." She cleansed Kerry's hair with Neutrogena Anti-Residue Shampoo [3] and used Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Mask [4] to condition, which "is an intensive moisture treatment that restores shine and leaves the hair so soft and lustrous."

Between her winged eyeliner, vibrant eyelashes, and stylish manicure, her look alone deserves an award. Kerry's glowing makeup was done by Carola Gonzalez, who explained that her makeup was inspired by her '70s-vibe hair. She did a double eyeliner look and "lined the top lash with Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner in Cosmic Black [5] and extended the tail on the outer edge to create a cat eye." Gonzalez completed the look by applying "two coats of Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara in Carbon Black [6] to lower lashes."
