As she tried out an Instagram-famous LED light mask on Jan. 18, Kristin Bell got a surprise visitor. The Good Place star's husband Dax Shepard intruded on her night of self-care to hilarious results.

Kristen was wearing a Déesse Pro LED Mask [1] ($2,300) made by esthetician Shani Darden [2]. The light-up LED mask has been seen gracing (and saving) the complexions of celebrities like Kourtney Kardashian [3] and Jessica Alba [4].

According to Shani's website, the Déesse Mask sends out low-power rays in different colors that zap problem areas like fine lines, wrinkles, and acne. Along with all that, the mask slightly resembles something you'd seen on Freddy Krueger in A Nightmare on Elm Street. But hey, anything for results, right?

In a video posted to Instagram, Dax entered Kristen's masking session and asked his wife of four years, "Will you please tell people this is real? This is not a bit to scare the sh*t out of me."

"I'm doing a treatment," she responded. His reply? "Holy f*ck."

While Dax appeared skeptical, we totally approve of Kristen's dedication to skincare rituals. Keep doing you, Kristen!
