It's a truth universally acknowledged that Kylie Lip Kits are really ridiculously popular. So popular, in fact, that they had become targets for beauty-savvy thieves, who apparently could tell from the unique packaging that prized Jenner products were inside.

So, according to the team at Seventeen, the powers that be at Lip Kit HQ decided to redo the packaging to prevent any more brazen stoop swipes — and to protect shoppers.

Gone is the paint-drip detail from the exterior of the box. Now, Lip Kit parcels just feature a discreet black exterior, with a drip detail inside. The box might be a lot less visually interesting now, but what matters – of course — is getting the precious lip goodies inside (which is definitely possible if you plan on shopping when kits are restocked this week).
