From beauty to fashion, oxblood is shaping up to be one of Fall 2012's biggest colors, as ever-the-trendsetter Lauren Conrad recently showcased. Decked out on her signature, winged-out eyeliner and a retro-red lip look, Lauren topped her vintage-meets-modern style off with ombré highlights and smooth, old-school waves.
To get just the right shade of crimson, celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine layered Make Up For Ever Aqua Rouge in Iconic ($24), a bright red, over the brand's Aqua Rouge in Burgundy ($24). While glossy, the highly pigmented colors combine to make a full-of-depth hue that lasts and lasts. Added Nadine, "No need to reapply throughout the night — not even once."
