View in slideshow Once a makeup item has achieved cult status, we can almost assuredly expect replicas to pop up anywhere from drugstore brands to competing department store collections. Recently, I mentioned that I had found a great dupe for Nars's famous Orgasm blush in Milani's Luminous. Thanks to input from readers Baby Girl, yajairab, JessRose, and SnufaLuffaGus143, I've gathered together 10 products that could easily pass for the original. To join in on the fun, why not become part of our Beauty Dupes Group? And for more lookalike cosmetic items, check out some of my Look For Less coverage, too. That Classic, Flatters-Everyone Kind of Shade For my dupe of the classic Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey ($14), a super wearable sheer shade, I opted for a Sally Hansen product. For another drugstore alternative, try CoverGirl Lipslicks Lip Gloss in Edgy ($4). A Goes-With-Everything Shadow MAC's Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch ($14.50) is described as a minimal pink with a shimmery finish, aka the shade that everyone looks good wearing. But, for a fraction of the cost, you can hit up your local drugstore for CoverGirl Eye Enhancers One Kit Eye Shadow in Champagne ($3). I'll toast to that. Eye Shadow in Naked Lunch ($14.50) is described as a minimal pink with a $14.50 from maccosmetics.com Buy Now CoverGirl Eye Enhancers One Kit Eye Shadow in Champagne $3 from drugstore.com Buy Now Orange You Sexy? Of course we all know that L'Oréal's HiP eye shadow line has similarities to MAC's popular shadows, but the great thing about the HiP products is that you get two in one at about half the cost. A great dupe for MAC's Eye Shadow in Coppering ($14.50), a pearly orange-copper, is the HiP Bright Duos Shadow in Flare ($8). Eye Shadow in Coppering ($14.50), a pearly orange-copper, is the $14.50 from maccosmetics.com Buy Now HiP Bright Duos Shadow in Flare $8 from drugstore.com Buy Now A Perfectly Peachy Pout While the match might not be exact on-screen, in real life, Rimmel London Lipstick in Crush ($5) is a pretty good dupe for MAC Lipstick in Freckletone ($14), a neutral peach lustre. Plus, if you recall, the peach lip trend emerged like crazy during 2010 Spring New York Fashion Week, and I don't see it stopping anytime soon. Rimmel London Lipstick in Crush $5 from ulta.com Buy Now MAC Lipstick in Freckletone $14 from maccosmetics.com Buy Now A Plum Deal Here we have another example of the L'Oréal/MAC dupe, but instead of a fiery orange shade, this one's a pinky-plum with a metallic finish. L'Oréal's HiP Shadow Duo in Cheeky ($8) is a pretty good match to MAC's Eye Shadow in Plum Dressing ($14.50), don't you agree? HiP Shadow Duo in Cheeky $8 from drugstore.com Buy Now A Sensuous Scent Moroccan Oil, which helps create instant shine on hair without leaving behind oiliness, might be a fabulous multitasking product, but at $41, it's a bit harsh on the wallet. Head over to Sally's and try out One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment, a similar product which costs just $9. An Orgasmic Experience We all know that the peachy-pink shimmer that is Nars Orgasm is flattering to just about all who try it. The brand's Nail Polish in Orgasm ($16) has been a popular shade since launching last year; for just around $5, you can get a color akin to the original with Ulta Shimmer Finish Salon Formula Nail Laquer in Princess ($5). Nail Polish in Orgasm $16 from shop.nordstrom.com Buy Now Strong Nails, Matte Finish OPI Nail Envy ($12) is a nail-strengthening treatment that helps to prevent cracking, peeling, and splitting. However, if you'd like to save a few bucks, hit up the Wet 'n' Wild aisle at the drugstore — locations here — and look for the brand's MegaLast Lengthener Strengthener, which does pretty much the same thing for a whole lot less. OPI Nail Envy $12 from amazon.com Buy Now Shimmering Bold Blue Eye This tip comes courtesy of SnufaLuffaGus143 yet again. For about half the cost, she mixed together two drugstore products to create her version of the Barbie Loves Stila Smudge Pot in Cobalt Clutch ($20), a vibrant blue with intense shimmer. First, she recommends lining the eyes with Jane Be Pure Mineral Gel Eyeliner in Navy ($4), then layering the shimmery blue shade of CoverGirl Eye Enhancers Quad in Tropical Fusion ($5) on top. Paint Brushes in Lieu of Makeup Brushes? And here's another clever tip from SnufaLuffaGus143. She says Loew-Cornell Paint Brushes are excellent alternatives to MAC brushes. Who knew?
