Looky-Looky, it's September's Must-Haves!

Looky-Looky, it's September's Must-Haves!

Depending on where you live, September is either still stuck in summer heat or is winding down into cooler weather. Either way, it's a good time to try out some fall trends, and I've rounded up some of my favorites! To find out what they are,

  • The angled bob, as shown on Jenny McCarthy, is a chic, of-the-moment 'do that flatters many face shapes. It's so easy to wear, and it's surprisingly easy to maintain.
  • Plum nail polish is great for this transition from summer to fall. Darker shades will be huge this fall, but if you're looking for a way to ease into it, try Maybelline Salon Expert. I love the shade Bitten Plum, and it can be yours for less than five bucks.
  • Coco Mademoiselle is going to be everywhere, thanks to a push from Chanel. Fortunately, it's a lovely scent that I've recently rediscovered. Expect to smell a lot more of it...
  • Bare Escentuals lipcolor in Rose Crepe ($15) is a limited-edition shade exclusive to Sephora. It's a soft rose color that's a stronger than your naked lip color, but not so intense that it shouts out at people. It's also a natural choice: it has no artificial dyes and is colored with minerals.
  • Too Faced has a limited-edition color palette ($28) that was devised with fashion brand Miss Sixty. What better way to celebrate Fashion Week? Plus, for those of you who caught Molly talking about PopSugar on CNN, I've got a secret for you: This is the palette that we used to make her camera-ready. It's Pop-, Fab-, and Bella-approved!
  • Ted Gibson Goodnite isn't necessarily a must-have. Considering its $200 price tag, it's really a "wish-I-could-have." It's a luxurious serum that moisturizes dry, damaged hair and balances both dry and oily scalps. If I win the lottery, I'm going to try it out.

Got your own must-haves? Let everyone know what they are!

haha, I love my bob. I think it really works with my thick blonde, straight hair. It used to take FOREVER to blowdry, and now I actually do it more often b/c I love the shape. But I do think it is easy to start looking soccermom with the shorter hair, and that it can get overplayed, and I'm trying heavily to avoid that... it (so far) isn't overplayed where I am, and I really wanted the hair off my neck for the AZ summer!

What fabulous colour for September! I like them all - although I would NEVER cut my hair short again (even a bob).

As September here is still hot and dry, Lancome's High Resolution with Collaster 48, is a daily must for my face.

I really want to try out the new reverse french manicure with the black nails that have the white at the bottom. I also love the dark purple nails. To maintain my summer glow as long as possible, I'll be using my trusty bronzer for awhile longer. I recently went blonde (i know, i know, who goes blonde at the END of summer) so i will be trusting my l'oreal professional violet shampoo and conditioner to keep me from going brassy. That and some good conditioning treatments to deal with the bleach, sun, sand, chlorine, etc. that my hair has endured this summer.

I agree with the 'bob' comment Laily. Other than that, I love everything else. I still have bottle of dark nailpolish from last year so I'm glad to hear I can still wear them and be considered 'in'.

My must have is sunscreen and a big hat. Its going to be a scortcher of a summer here. On another note. The angled bob or pob may look good on jenny but every fashion vicitm and her mum has one here and the look screams pedestrian for me at the moment.
