What can't MAC Cosmetics do? After launching a string of high-profile collaborations with the likes of Caitlyn Jenner [1], Zac Posen [2], and Charlotte Olympia [3], the company is tapping into a major fan market with its latest project: Star Trek [4].

The line is almost out of this world in terms of sheer scope. The collection includes 25 pieces, from nail polish to eye shadow. The range is designed to honor the many women of the television and film series — including, of course, Zoe Saldana [5] — on what will be the 50th anniversary of Star Trek's small-screen debut. The collection's launch is also well timed to coincide with the late-July release of the next installment in the movie franchise, Star Trek Beyond [6].

In a press release, James Gager, MAC Cosmetics' senior vice president, shared his excitement for the collaboration. "Star Trek is an iconic pop culture phenomena whose storylines pushed gender and racial boundaries," he said. "For its 50th anniversary, we celebrate each of Star Trek's powerful women in a transcending, transformational makeup collection."
