Instant Subscribe The Supplies Here's what you'll need: A lighter A spoon Tweezers A bobby pin An eyeliner applicator or brush An almond Fire Up! Grasp the almond with the tweezers (you don't want to be holding it as it burns), and light it on fire. It takes a couple minutes for the almond to burn through, so just be patient. Break It Off Once the almond is burned through, tap what soot you can off into the spoon. Use a bobby pin to gently break the rest off and crush up any chunklets in the powder. Get Oily Little Pepper's recipe ends there, but since I like liquid and gel eyeliners with a lot of staying power, I added a teensy bit of olive oil to my liner, and mixed it in until it looked like this. Then I used the applicator brush to apply it the same way you would a gel liner. Line and Define As you can see, it's very dark and makes a nice, smooth line. All Done! The liner stayed in place all evening, although since I have hooded eyes, I did get a bit above my crease.
