MAKEUP We're still waiting for our Hogwarts acceptance letter to arrive via owl post, but in the meantime, we're calming our nerves by religiously re-reading the entire Harry Potter [1] series, watching all the movies, and shopping witchy beauty products [2]. And now, thanks to makeup artist Georgina Ryland, we have one more Potterhead-approved activity to add to the list: watching her paint Hogwarts on her body.

The impossibly talented artist [3] took to her YouTube channel [4] to demonstrate in a time-lapse video how, over the course of five hours, she carefully painted the prestigious wizarding school on her chest. She used a scene from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone as reference, and no detail was spared, including the boats crossing the Black Lake, lit windows, and cloudy sky.

"It took roughly five hours to paint, but I could have happily gone for 10 hours," she explained. Ryland used a blend of pro products — such as Mehron Makeup Paradise Paints [5] ($14) — and items you can get at Sephora [notably, Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper [6] ($20)] to create the masterpiece.
