Minimal Makeup at 2010 Spring Fashion Week

Trend Alert: Totally Bare-Faced at Fashion Week

No visible makeup is officially a makeup trend: at Rachel Comey, BCBG, and Cynthia Steffe, the models have all gone seemingly bare. In fact, Lisa Butler, the makeup artist at the BCBG show, said, "It’s all about the individual. The look is finished, but not made up." She only used mascara, mineral foundation, and lip conditioner. It's simple but very pretty. What do you think? Will you be trying this out in the spring?

This is okay for everyday looks, but I don't think it will work for going out or important events, such as client meetings and such. For myself, it just wouldn't work, I'd be too washed out if I didn't add some color to my face.

It's ok. Personally, I don't wear much makeup either. I like the idea that their embracing natural beauty, I'm all for it. But considering this is a fashion show, a little makeup (maybe something to enhance their beauty), would help a little.

It's okay. I don't wear a lot of makeup during the day...I definitely like a natural look. But this may be a little TOO plain for me.
