Morning After Pick-Me-Up

When I first crossed the drinking-age threshold, I could stay up all night, consume considerable amounts of alcohol, and still look perky the next day. Now, I have just one night of fitful sleep, and the puffy circles under my eyes suggest that I’ve just spent a week traveling by Greyhound bus.

That is why I swear by Origins’ No Puffery cooling eye gel, available here. According to the Origins web site, it's made from yeast and mushroom extracts, but it feels more like a refreshing, gelatinous ice. I just dab a tiny bit under each eye after a rough night and leave it on throughout the day. Not only does it tame the puffiness, but the chilling sensation wakes me up. A tiny bottle goes for $20, but it lasts six months to a year, depending on how much you overindulge.

LOL, if I spent a week traveling by Greyhound Bus, I'd feel the need for a pressure washdown. This just might not do the trick. :) This sounds great, though. How does it compare to Benefit's Depuffing Eye Action gel?

Here's a cheaper, "Morning pick-me-up" ... Take a shower, use some refreshing dove soap, coconut body wash by Body Works and scrub a dub dub ...
