5 Organic Skin Care Lines to Know – and Try! – Right Now

Apr 22 2014 - 12:30pm

We've long been a fan of skincare lines like Caudalie, Jurlique, and Nourish Organics that take their ingredients as seriously as their efficacy. But we wouldn't be good beauty junkies if we weren't constantly trying out new products, too. So, here are some new lines that we've fallen in love with for their great results and good-for-you message.

Kora Organics

Miranda Kerr [1] is the gorgeous mastermind behind this skincare line, which uses only the purest, premium-quality, certified-organic ingredients formulated in accordance with Eco-Cert's and OFC's strict certification guidelines. The line is meant to work together as a system, but, of course, each of the individual products works great on its own, too.

Estelle & Thild

Just one more reason to be jealous of gorgeous Swedish women — they've been using Estelle & Thild skin care from Stockholm for several years. But now that it's available in the US, thanks to Net-a-Porter.com, and we can enjoy the seriously scientific results delivered by this organic brand. Fun fact: the line is named for founder Pernilla Ronnberg's daughters.

Product to Try: Super BioActive Magic Duo [3], $157

Tata Harper

It's not just your food that can be farm fresh! Everything in this 100 percent natural line is made on a farm in Vermont, developed by Colombian-raised Harper. The line is loved by celebs for its antiaging properties and friendliness to sensitive or damaged skin.

Product to Try: Rejuvenating Serum [4], $150

Dedicated to making safe products and keeping the exclusion of anything harmful or carcinogenic in mind (check out their handy Never List [5] of ingredients they won't use), Beautycounter has a full skin care and makeup line that is meant to look and feel as luxe as anything you could buy at a high-end department store. Founder Gregg Renfrew wanted to make products that any women would feel good about pulling out of her purse or having sit on her vanity, and the sleek design reflects that promise. And you can either buy it on the brand's website [6] or from one of their local consultants.

Product to Try: Nourishing Cleansing Balm [7], $75

This adorable line may hail from Canada, but its founder Daniela Belmondo was inspired to start it because of the properties of olive oil in her native Italy. Packaged in glass and sourced through fair trade whenever possible, these extremely gentle products use nourishing olive oil to hydrate skin naturally.

Product to Try: The Cloud Velvety Olive Oil Face Cream [8], $52
