New Product Alert: 100% Pure Organic Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration

I love it when ingredient lists have recognizable words, because then you know exactly what you're putting on your skin. 100% Pure is one company whose formulas are 100% easy to understand. The all-vegan, organic line uses fresh fruits and extracts to create natural, highly concentrated products for your body.

The latest addition to the collection is Organic Pomegranate Antioxidant Hydration ($26), a lightweight moisturizer with SPF 15. Here's what's inside:

Organic white tea, organic pomegranate oil, vitamin E, chamomile and lavender wax, extracts of rosemary, oregano, thyme, grapefruit seed, golden seal and cinnamon.

Pretty simple stuff, right? There's nothing there that would give me pause, though I'd still probably use an additional sunscreen if I were going to be in the sun. What about you—do you have faith in all-natural products, or are you more likely to go for a clinically tested product that has chemicals in it?

I don't know if I would use this... I think I would be too tempted to start eating it!!!! Seriously, I really try to stick to natural ingredients, I don't like chemicals being sloshed onto my body, and most lotions and stuff can have alcohol in their fragrances, which is bad bad bad, so the all natural route is a good way to get around that part!

I think it's a toss-up in trusting either science or nature when it comes to beauty products. So much has been proven for and against both. I guess it ultimately depends on one's own skin type. I am always willing to try a supposedly good product no matter where it comes from. I'm an optimist. :)

This sounds lovely! I would probably wear this on a regular basis, but not for going out. My T-zone is a total greasy mess at the end of the day if I'm not wearing some sort of mattifying moisturizer or base, so I wouldn't wear this to look good, just to make my skin feel better. I generally use products that are not only cheap drug-store finds but that at least have some sort of natural ingredient. I know it's totally supposed to be for people who are over 20 years old, but I use LUMENE skin care products. Mostly just their eye cream and scrub. It's got cloudberries, vitamin C and a few other ingredients from the Great North. Also, it's widely distributed in Russia where I'm from, so I feel like I'm getting a little bit of Eurasian skin care in there too :] -JR

This sounds great. Especially with the pomegranates. I usually try to go for more natural products, but sometimes the budget just doesn't stretch that way. I always seem to be more tempted by natural or organic products though...

I haven't switched yet, but I am going to replace all of my chemically-laden products to organic, natural and vegan-if possible. Skin is the largest organ, it absorbs a lot and works hard to protect us.

I must confess, I'm not very good with using natural products. This does sound delicious, though, and I just might have to try it.

I'm def. going to try this! I try to mainly use natural skincare products. It's comforting to know the ingredients you're allowing to absorb into your skin.

I don't inherently trust natural products. The most toxic substances in the world are all-natural (hemlock?). I guess, as Esqueleto says in Nacho Libre, I believe in science.
