New Product Alert: Joey New York Chin Breakout Relief

In the spirit of my recent posts on chins and necks, I thought you may be interested in hearing about a relatively new product from Joey New York called Chin Breakout Relief ($30).

This all-natural spot lotion has been created especially for the ultra-sensitive and highly hormonal breakout-prone chin area. It's oil-free and it contains salicylic acid to help clear up existing blemishes and stop new bacteria from forming.

Also, I like hearing that it's potent enough to get down deep into the fibers of your cysts to help dissolve trapped sebum. I haven't tried this yet, but if anybody has, please let me know what you think!

This is one of the silliest things I've ever heard! Marketing a product for just one area that can and should be used on the whole face is a dishonest ploy.

I bought this product because sometimes (rarley) i get cysts, and it's always on my chin and they are AWFUL. this was the first product i found to be focused on that. however, it is a wierd product. it is a brown liquid that you put on a slightly wet cotton ball and apply to skin. then the liquid dries on my skin to be a brown color, and is hard to cover with make-up. you should use it only at night. but i was still to embrassed to have my family see me with brown spots. im still not sure if it works but you know what does. ZENO. and MURAD.

I only breakout on my chin, sooo frustrating! Salicylic acid seems to really bug my skin though. I would love to know if this works or not.

good could go to the derm, pay a copay and get a cortisone injection instead

the chin is my only probelm area every now and then, so this product seems great, but i agree with many peeps on here that it is a little pricey.....

I don't see the catch, salicylic acid is in many acne products.

I've tried this product. My chin area is the most problematic for me so I was willing to try anything. I can't say that this product blew me away, although it did seem to help somewhat. It reminded me of the Mario Badescu product but not as harsh. But, the $30 price tag is a bit hard to swallow.

I agree with the other posters-- salicylic acid is pretty common, why pay $30 for something you can get for $10 at the drugstore?

that's odd, my chin is like the one place where I hardly ever have problems. (watch, as I say this tomorrow I'll wake up with a bertha on my chin.) the t-zone is the worst place for me.

I need this right now!!! I get awful breakouts on my chin and nothing works - not even prescription stuff. I'm willing to try anything new.

I'd rather pay a $30.00 copay and see my dermatologist.

Yes, what exactly sets this apart from other acne products? Salicylic Acid is pretty much in every acne product out there...

$30 is quite steep...but I need something for my chin. My boyfriend doesn't shave everyday and I find his stuble makes my chin break out when we smooch.

That $30 price tag is a little painful, but for someone like me who only gets breakouts in that one area, just that one time of the month, it sounds pretty tempting!

that little bottle does seem kind of pricey at $30. thankfully (knock on wood),i don't get breakouts, but if i did, i'd be looking for a cheaper option.

$30??? Try Clean & Clear or Neutrogena and go buy some makeup with the change. Salicylic acid isn't some "special" ingredient. It's in lots of acne treatments these days. I think this is just nuts!
