At the Do Something Awards yesterday, Nikki Reed showcased just how much an updo can enhance your hair's texture and color — real or not. All it takes is two mattifying products, some hairpins, and about five minutes of your time. Get the complete lowdown below.
- Celebrity stylist Mara Roszak began by parting Nikki's dry strands straight down the middle, spritzing a texturizer, Bumble and bumble Surf Spray ($15 to $24), all throughout.
- To add more texture, she then twisted the front sections of Nikki's hair, pinned them in place, and allowed them to dry.
- For even more fluff, Roszak applied Serge Normant Meta Revive Dry Shampoo ($25) all over. To finish, she pulled the remaining hair low to one side, twisting it into a loose bun. After pinning in place, she then allowed a few pieces of Nikki's hair to fall out around her face for perfectly undone results.
