Paris Hilton's Hair Extensions Lawsuit

Paris Hilton's Hair Inspires a Lawsuit

Major drama for Paris Hilton this week: the heiress is in a hairy situation, now that she's facing a lawsuit over her hair extensions. HairTech International, the company behind DreamCatchers brand hair extensions, claims that Paris is in breach of contract — and it's suing her to the tune of $35 million.

When Paris cut her hair in 2008, HairTech International alleges, she wore another brand's extensions. Worse yet, they say, her pot-smoking case in South Africa and three-week jail stint in 2007 damaged the brand's sales. Paris's lawyers say there is "no merit" to the case, which may be true. After all, most of you said you wouldn't buy Paris's extensions anyway. Think there's a case, or is this a frivolous lawsuit?
