Perricone MD Blue Plasma Orbital Daily Peel Review

If There Is Life on Mars, They're Using This Eye Treatment

It's a well-known beauty fact that you should keep harsh scrubs or acidic treatments far away from the under-eye area, but Dr. Perricone has found a way to exfoliate the most sensitive skin on your face with its Perricone MD Blue Plasma Orbital Daily Peel ($65). The blue gel looks like something from outer space, and the technology is far ahead of its time.

Salmon egg enzyme helps peel away dead skin cells, plankton extract decreases puffiness, and something called pterostilbene brightens (it's actually derived from blueberries and has similar effects as resveratrol). Because I have a darker skin tone, hyperpigmentation is always a problem, especially under my eyes. So, anything that will increase the cellular turnover and lighten up those grayish circles is a godsend. This gel is cooling on contact, doesn't have a sticky texture, and there was no burning (which is what I expected from a peel). Now if only teleportation technology would catch up to this skin care advancement.
