Rachel McAdams Goes Platinum Blond

Rachel McAdams Lightens Up For Spring

From punky pink to multitoned shades of brown, Rachel McAdams has dabbled with various hair color looks over the years. While we've seen her do platinum blond before, she's been walking the red carpets of the 2011 Cannes Film Festival sporting a hue that's several shades lighter than what we've been seeing her wear as of late. Now that temperatures are rising, expect to see lots of stars hitting up their salons for similar lightening treatments. Are you a fan of Rachel's newly brightened strands?

I have to say that Rachel's pink makeup looks absolutely stunning with her new hair color.

Usually I am all about being as close to your natural shade as possible but I like her as a uber blonde. And I must add that she looks awesome for someone in their 30s and I hope she doesn't go the plastic surgery route.

The darker color looks so natural on her, it looks like it might be hers, whereas the lighter is clearly a dye job and you can see the individual highlights. But, I'm usually a lighter is better girl. :P But, it's also the peach lipstick in the first one that makes her washed out. She's a very cool complected person and should stick to pinks.

I don't lik the new colour, it's too pale and brassy. The previous shade was warmer and lovely. Regardless, Rachel could go bald and still be beautiful.
