Feather hair extensions were seriously hot for a few months in 2011, but (like all trends) they quickly went the way of the dodo. However, beloved Hollywood hippie Shailene Woodley has resurrected the look in a chic, wearable new style. At the world premiere of Insurgent, Shailene's cropped coif looked sleek and polished, as usual — until she turned her head. Tucked into her hair was a smattering of brown striped feathers (turkey feathers, perhaps?) that almost seamlessly blended into her strands. Just like the back of her Ralph Lauren gown [1], the hidden feathers added edge to Shailene's clean, classic look.
