So, Did You Get Sunburned This Weekend?

Hope everyone had a great three-day weekend! I enjoyed not one, but two afternoons outdoors, but of course I was soaked with SPF 30 and I even covered my skin with a beach towel. Some of my friends pooh-poohed the idea of wearing sunblock, but by the end of the day, they were beginning to turn pink. Tell me, did you escape without a burn? Or are you rockin' the lobster-red skin? (If it's the latter, treat yourself to this DIY soothing soak!)

We go boating alot so I'm very good at remembering the sunblock!!!!! The sun reflects off the water and can burn you really badly so I'm diligent with the sunblock. I may be pale but that's okay with me.

My skin rarely burns, but I wore sunblock . The sun was still strong, even though it's cooler now.

I'm Mexican, so I don't usually get sunburned (I've only had one or two very very light sunburns in my life)... but my legs are SO red right now. I hadn't worn shorts outside for over a year, until last Saturday, when I spent 4 hours under a cloudless sky at the beach. :P

I was down in the lowcountry of SC and it was like a monsoon. Got about 7" of rain where I was but others got up to 16". There was no burning at all.

It's been rainy here...but normally I do use SPF 30. I don't spend a lot of time in the sun, so this works fine.

I try to not head into the sun and if I do, I wear SPF 60 alllll over my body including on my face. I hate being in the sun, being tanned, or anything like that lol..

No way - SPF 45 keeps the burn and the wrinkles away! :)

I usually stay away from the sun because I'm very pale-skinned and burn very easily (and never get a tan), but I was out all day on both Saturday and Sunday and I'm not even a bit pink. Yay, sunscreen!

I used sunblock but forgot to reapply. Luckily, I only got a little pink in the face and shoulders that hurt for about a day. No peeling!
