The New Way to Wear Pastel Nail Polishes For Spring
Hey, dolls! With each new season, we welcome new shades for our tips. After Pantone announced Radiant Orchid as the color of the year, many of us flocked to stores and online to find eye shadows, lippies, and of course, nail polishes in this shade. I decided to check my stash for not only Radiant Orchid, but some additional shades that I think we will see a lot of this Spring.
Most people immediately think pastels when it comes to Spring nail polish. Pastels will still be popular, but they are becoming modernized in new finishes that are a little brighter, more saturated, and not at all chalky. My favorites for this Spring include soft peaches, blues, mints, yellows, and of course, orchids. Creme polishes are a staple in your nail polish collection for their versatility: they can be worn alone or layered. This season, try a few of your favorite shades in matte, soft glitter, or shimmer finishes for an updated look.
Both mainstream and indie brands are making fashion-forward shades that should be rocked throughout the entire Spring season. My picks include shades that will be flattering and easy to wear on all skin tones. I've included just a few of my favorite brands in the photo above that you should keep an eye out for this Spring season to keep your nails looking their best. These brands range in price from $2.99 to $17, so you can get the look at any price point. Whether you like to go to a nail technician for your mani/pedi or you are a self-proclaimed DIY nail polish addict, these colors are sure to get you noticed!
Which of these colors and finishes are you most looking forward to trying this Spring?
