Tools of the Trade: BellaSugar's Guide to Makeup Brushes

I get a lot of readers writing in with beauty questions, and makeup brushes are without a doubt one of the hottest topics. Obviously, I want to make sure we have all of the beauty basics covered, so I've created a definitive guide to makeup brushes that you can come back to again and again. Here's a roundup of my posts about six essential types of makeup brushes and how to clean and care for them.

Hi Torisweettooth, The fan brush is great for loose powders, for blending and even for bronzer. The ends are uneven so that the brush captures just the right amount of powder. I hope this helps!

Whenever I buy eyeshadows and blushes etc I always go for those which include a brush/applicator. I travel a lot and it's enough trouble trying to pack my makeup so another set of brushes are just not practical.

^ummmmm she is not giving away any brushesThe best angled eyeshadow brush I have ever had was actually a paint brush. If you think about you can get the same type of bristles and they are made the same way. However paint brushes are sometimes cheaper
