What Do You Think About Multiple Tattoos?

A lot of people who get tattoos talk about how addictive they are. (That's why you'll often see someone donning multiple tattoos as opposed to just one.) Last time I checked, Angelina Jolie had 13, Nicole Richie had seven, and Pamela Anderson had three. Last week at the Superhero Movie premiere, Pamela showed off two of her tats. What do you think? Would you stick with just one, or are you all about multiples?

I have 6 tattoos, 4 colored stars each representing my wife and kids (2 daughters & 1 son) that are on my thigh, easily concealable. The other two, however, are on my arm/bicep, each a green playboy bunny 3" high. (why green ? why playboy bunnies ? a much longer story...;) Anyhoo, my wife doesn't like them, but pretends they don't exist. I've thought about removing them, but green is the hardest color to remove (of course ;(, so I worry about scarring. I've had the bunnies so long ~15 years, that coverups don't seem to be attractive, and what would I possibly get ? Nothing comes to mind. I've accepted my bunnies, but still get uncomfortable in certain situations, such as recently I was at a park with a girl scout troupe and some real quizzical look from the pre teens and the troupe leaders. Anyway, the point is love tattoos, make sure you get what you want the first time !

I hate tatoos and think they are disgusting.

I agree with SJJ158 and others. Also, saying something is tacky in mixed company is probably the tackiest thing someone can do.

Wow, it's cool that the "more the merrier" and "none at all" options are always equal! As for me, I don't want any. If I did get some, they would be barely noticeable and something cute and timeless.

I agree with you totally, sjj158. I have a ton of tattoos but I dress very classy and think when my tattoos are showing, I'm no less classy.

Ha- people that hate tattoos make me laugh. Everything can be tacky! The way you do your makeup, what you wear, how you style your hair and the color of your hair.. the way you can all be tacky but I don't judge YOU by that. Your decision your choice.. as is mine. I have seven and counting.... I get compliments on mine all the time and I think I look beautiful when I get dressed up, especially in a sleeveless dress. Class has NOTHING to do with body art. :) And ink on guys is hot.. as in HOTTTTT.

It's definitely true when they say tattoos are addicting, I started with one and now I have 5 and still want to get a couple more. Mine are pretty spaced out, one every year so far. I def take the time to think the next one out before I just go and get it.

It totally depends. For some people a tattoo doesn't fit at all, where others they are totally sexy. I have one and totally want another!

either you do it big, or not at all!

And as for those thinking about sagging skin and whatever, this is my reasoning...when your body does start aging and sagging, might as well give them something to look at! :)

I have two tattoos. Each one represents extremely important moments in my life, and I do plan on getting another one. I think the line is drawn when a woman purposely gets rather masculine tattoos (i.e. the barbed wire armband) when there are so many different feminine designs out there instead. But I think having tattoos shows an amazing sense of dedication and love for what they do...except if it's something silly like Tweety Bird. lol

I don't like where the whole body is covered... and homemade ones are the worst. :-#

i dno't like tattoos and especially not in the usual spots like a tramp stamp. It's so unclassy. If you must have a tattoo have one on your foot or hidden.

Multiple tatoos are no different than single tatoos---they will ALL go South one day!

it really depends on the tattoo, and the placement. some tattoos are absolute artwork, and they're completely gorgeous, and others hold a lot of special meaning to the person who gets it. i have two, and they're relatively small and rather far apart (one is on the inside of my wrist, while the other is on the back of my neck). i can hide them if i want to, and i'm contemplating getting a third - i just don't know where or of what, but when i come up with the PERFECT idea, i'll get it. not before. personally, i don't like tattoos that were gotten on a whim, and i'm not a fan of superbig ones either, but to each their own. i just think if they get too large, they begin to look ridiculous.

I have one and want another, but it really depends on where the tattoo is :D No place that's going to sag too much with age!

It depends on the tattoo, really. Tattoos can be classy, but I don't think Pam's are at all.

I have six of them. I can cover all of them without a problem. When people discover that I have them, I always get told that I don't look like the type to have any. I was just wondering, what type do they mean? I love tattoos and I still want just one more. I think that they should mean something to the wearer though.

I'm like Angelina with her kids...there's really no plan for stopping! lol But really what gets me is the people who think I'm disgusting because I have them. Tattoos are something I remember looking at when I was little and saying "Wow! I want one of THOSE!" So after my 18th birthday, I got my first one and now, I have two sessions left on my 7th. People don't always realize that some of us put months, even YEARS into finding and getting the right tattoos. My husband has been working on a cherry blossom tree sleeve for 4 years now, and it looks just like a watercolor! They can be really amazing art if the artist is talented and the owner chooses wisely and cares for his or her piece properly.

It really depends on the tattoo. I've been planned on getting one next year. Some can pull them well such as Nicole Richie (her tattoos are awesome!
