While 2017 was a huge year for MAC launches [1], 2018 is already shaping up to be another exciting one. Thanks to makeup artists on Instagram, we've gotten a sneak peek at the new Lunar New Year collection, and you guys, it's CHIC.
Instagram user miukmiuk, who says he is a resident trainer for MAC Korea, posted a lineup that featured four lipsticks, a nine-shade eye shadow palette, and what looks like a blush/highlighter duo. Another South Korea-based makeup artist, user jins_yang, gave an even more close-up look at the incredible ombré pink-white packaging.
Product-wise, the lipstick shades we've seen look red toned, while the highlighter/blush are pink and pearl. The eye shadow shades appear to be a mix of pinks and pastels.
We reached out to MAC, and a brand rep told us the adorable collection is, indeed, coming to the US and launching Jan. 18. It'll be a limited distribution and available to shop online. Watch this space for more info as we learn it!
