Which Lip Gloss Looks Best on Venus Williams?

Go Venus! In case you missed it, Venus Williams won big at Wimbledon this weekend. She arrived to the championship dinner in London wearing bright pink lip gloss, a shade we don't typically see on this tennis tourney player. In the past, Venus has been more of subdued peach or brown gloss kind of gal, but this bright color oozes confidence and pizzazz. Out of these three lip glosses, which do you think is the winning shade on this comely champ?

She truly does look a bit masculine sometimes, but like an above poster mentioned, her job isn't to look pretty all the time-- that's a model's job-- but to win matches and she's damn good at that! Her lip gloss in the middle picture is the best.

Hmm, I have to disagree, I do actually think she is pretty. The overall makeup acumen may not be super high, but I think in the right hands, Venus would really surprise some people. But then I always thought Spock was hot, so who am I to know, right? :P

I like the brownish nude best on her. Rabidmoon- She might be a beautiful person but she's sure not pretty and no one is saying she has to be. She's not a model, she's not an actress, she's an athlete. It's great that in our shallow world athletes are still allowed to be regular looking girls and not all bleach blond with big boobs. It's refreshing.

Already posted about the lipgloss but want to add this: She's beautiful as far as I am concerned. Beauty in the true sense, of form and function, of female power, focus, and look at her eyes - that is the glow of a person who lives what they love. THAT is beautiful, and that makes her beautiful. When did we get so narrow and shallow about beauty? Its scary. Her beauty is not just form, but function, not just shallow appearances but something concrete and real. She does something with it, and achieves success in an industry that STILL treats women's competitions as a second-class event. And if you rather get more technical, she has glowing skin, great teeth, amazing cheekbones, and her eyes are beautifully set..not too wide, not too narrow. If she is "guilty" of anything its that other things mean more to her than cosmetic perfection. Which is as it should be for someone who is there to win matches, not pageants. :)

Here, here I raise my hand to you sldc - she is an amazing woman! So sad all of us can't be world class people.

She may not be classically beautiful, but she has a ton of talent and a strong body. I think she looks best natural, as she looks awkward in makeup that stands out. I realize this is a beauty forum, but in general, I find it sad that her looks are so often commented on, because she is a world class ATHLETE. It is so unfair that a woman can be world class in a field, but people will still think "meh, if she could only look more feminine."

Peachy nude for sure!

I think it's really that hair that is throwing me off with the pink one - but the peach looks really nice.

The peachy nude, definitely. --- I just want to say that I'm truly happy that she won in Wimbledon this year. Go join the legends! :)

I just think these sisters of sports awesomeness totally rock...but hmm... The pink is really cute but I am not keen on the hair so it threw me off as well. (Agree with cmill38) The first look is polished, but perhaps is a bit off foundation-wise. She has nice skin, rocks that healthy glow (middle shot!) its a shame to cover it up with a base that looks a bit too thick and ashen for her. (There's a wierd "grey" cast about her skin in that shot that I do not think is hers, but the makeup's.) So I think maybe it would be great to see the punchy pink gloss on her, with perhaps the hairstyle and sheer, fresh look of the foundation on the middle photo...but with a lighter, less smokey eye. I think the middle hairstyle is so cute, with loads of movement and lovely colour variance. Really suits her and brings out a real girlishness in this sportswoman! :)

I like the pinky-peach on her. Can I also say that I was thrilled that she won? Singles AND Doubles Championships in the same day - that is hard-core.

I love her in the peachy pink gloss! Her makeup is great in that photo! The colors warm up her whole complexion!

I think the middle picture is the better one. Makes her look softer, more feminine. She doesnt do so great with her hair/makeup most times.
