Wigs at Home

Wigs at Home Makes House Calls to Those Who Need It Most

After his wife experienced hair loss as a result of cancer treatments, stylist Stephen Kushner formulated a plan. Knowing that many people suffering from medically-related hair loss experience anxiety while shopping for wigs in public, Kushner and business partner Jasun Fiorentino started Wigs at Home, an at-home service spanning the New York tri-state area. Kushner and his staff send a stylist to the client's home to customize the perfect wig for each individual, matching her exact look from before or giving her a whole new style altogether.

It's a great idea, as the service not only takes away the pressure of wig shopping, but as evidenced by the statements of many happy clients, it's also a much-needed confidence booster during a particularly harrowing experience. And to make sure that anyone can receive a wig regardless of her financial situation, WAH matches clients with wigs that are no longer needed for free. Win-win.
