It feels like everyone is getting bangs lately: Kylie Jenner [2], Anne Hathaway [3], Hilary Duff [4], and now Becky G, too. The singer, who's currently in Spain, shared a few snapshots on her Instagram Story on Sept. 20 that put the new haircut [5] on full display.

Seated in the backseat of a car wearing a white and red striped button-up with layered gold necklaces and dangly earrings, Becky G videotaped herself singing along to the radio and captioned it "Buenos días ☀️." Her dark-brown hair — which is usually styled either straight or with voluminous waves in a middle part [6] — featured wispy, eyelash-grazing bangs across her forehead. The "Birkin"-style bangs [7] had a slightly rounded bend to them and were punctuated by long, face-framing layers on either side of her face.

Though the transformation may be only temporary by way of a clip-in hair piece, Becky G proceeded to share more snaps from her day with the short bangs, making us hopeful she opted to get the real deal. Bangs of all varieties [8] are proving to be a popular haircut choice for fall, so this could be her way of welcoming the new season.
