Get ready to add every makeup product used in Becky G's 2022 MTV VMAs beauty look [1] to your cart. The singer arrived on the red carpet on Aug. 28 in a stunning cutout embellished gown and an ultraglamourous beauty look to match. Her makeup artist, Deanna Paley [2], used a combination of products from Beautyblender and Treslúce Beauty (Becky G's brand) [3] to create the look.
"The inspiration for tonight's look came from Becky's gorgeous look, playing on the deep-sea-goddess vibe and aesthetic," Paley tells POPSUGAR. "Becky and I worked together on her VMAs makeup look, as we wanted to tie the red lip to [the] red in her dress. The soft, effortless copper eye complemented her dress perfectly, plus the golden-bronze complexion tied the full look together."
To start, Paley used the Beautyblender Bounce Liquid Whip Long Wear Foundation [4] ($29) in shades 3.65 and 3.55, along with the Bounce Airbrush Liquid Whip Concealer [5] ($26) in shades 3.25 N Med Neutral and 3.30 W/O Med, for the singer's base. Then the Bounce Magic Fit Creamy Bronzer and Highlighter Duo [6] ($32) in Golden/Nutmeg and Pearl/Buff gave Becky G's skin an all-over glow. From Treslúce Beauty, two blushes — the Ready to Bounce Cream Blush [7] ($16) in Date Night and Weekend Vibez — accentuate her cheeks.
Moving on to the eyes, Paley used the Hello, Brows! Dual-Ended Micro Brow Pencil [8] ($18) in dark brown, combined with the Hello Brows Clear Brow Gel [9] ($14), to create the singer's sharp brow look. Her eyes were decorated with neutral eyeshadow from the La Flor de Mexico Shadow Palette [10] ($30), the Intenso Gel Liner [11] ($12) in the shade Accomplished, and the Ilusión Premium Vegan Lashes [12] ($14) in the 5D Fantasy style.
Last but not least, Becky G's bold red lip was none other than the Amor shade of the Intenso Gel Liner [13] ($12), proving just how versatile the eyes, lips, and face pencil is.
