The Grammys Confirmed It's Never Too Late to Bring Back '90s Hair and Makeup

OK, we know that the Grammys are supposed to be all about the music, but we can't help but be taken by some of the hair and makeup looks that make it onto the red carpet (some of us are just wired that way). When it comes to award shows, celebrities really know how to bring their A game, and while the ceremony was formatted a lot differently this year, that didn't stop those in attendance from pulling out all of the stops in the beauty department.

This year specifically, the best beauty looks to take the stage at the Grammys were decidedly nostalgic, with so many artists sourcing their hair and makeup inspiration from the '90s. We're talking alllll the brown lipstick and lip liner (we see you Lizzo, Phoebe Bridges, and Megan Thee Stallion, respectively), mullet haircuts, french manicures, and so much more. Read ahead to check out some of our favorite throwback hair and makeup looks from the 2021 Grammy Awards.
