Is Billie Eilish entering a new era of music? Her recent hair transformation would certainly suggest so. On Feb. 1, the "Happier Than Ever" singer [2] debuted jet-black hair [3] on Instagram, captioning the masked selfie with a simple black-square emoji. The change comes just two months after she dyed her hair a chocolate brown [4], following a dramatic blond shag haircut [5] and a brief stint as a secret redhead [6] earlier in 2021.

Eilish previously sported black hair in 2019 — right before she got bright-green highlights, solidifying her signature look — but this time, she's added micro bangs and a short bob length to her darker look. From gray to blue, the singer has worn many different hair colors [7] throughout her career, although her natural color is an unexpected golden blond [8].
