This year's mood board for popular Fall nail polish colors [1] is, naturally, filled with darker hues, rich berries, and neutrals. Cardi B's latest manicure, however, makes the case for an unexpected shade: neon yellow [2].
The rapper debuted her new nails at the Austin City Limits Music Festival on Oct. 6. Since then, she's paired the look with bright outfits, including a dual-colored suit that she wore to a recent Vogue Forces of Fashion panel.
While bright yellow is a nail polish color that is a staple come the warmer months, we'd be thrilled to see it stick around as a nail trend through the new season. After all, who can really complain about the rapper bringing the Summer sunshine to Fall?
