The Post-Lockdown Celebrity Hair Changes Have Begun, and Everyone Is Going Blond

As hair salons all over the country reopen, people are flocking back to their hairstylists to receive a long-overdue style update — including celebrities. Many have been anxiously awaiting the day they could get back in the salon chair since March, when social distancing began. As even the states with the strictest stay-at-home orders in place like New York and California move through phased reopening plans, that time has finally come.
With months to gather hair inspiration and prepare, we're seeing celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski, Millie Bobby Brown, and Cardi B all drastically switch up their look for the summer season. From big chops (we're looking at you, Post Malone) to major color changes, our Instagram feeds are slowly being taken over with professional hairstyle transformations for the first time in months. (Although we had no shortage of amateur at-home hairstyle transformations to enjoy during the hiatus.)

Cardi B wasted no time when the stay-at-home orders expired — she immediately ran out to get her tattoo touched up and got four new piercings in one sitting. She also paid a visit to Tokyostylez for this glamour, extralong red wig.
Post Malone's Shaved Head
Post Malone shocked everyone when he shared a close-up picture of his shaved head on Instagram on June 21. He traded his signature dark curls for a new skull tattoo on the side of his head.
Julianne Hough's Brunette Hair
We barely recognized Julianne Hough with her natural brown hair — she's been blond for as long as we can remember. She showed off the new color on June 10 in a video on her Instagram page.
