For those of you who have been wishing that Ciara would bless us with her own beauty brand [1] since the early 2000s, your wish has been granted — or at least, it will be soon. During an Instagram Live session with Allure Editor-in-Chief Michelle Lee, Ciara disclosed that she's been working on a special skin-care formula while sheltering in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the details Ciara shared were vague, she's reportedly working on developing a product that personally made a difference in her skin [2] over the last year and will "speak to all skin types" and help with pigmentation [3], according to Allure. Will her beauty brand also include hair care? Color cosmetics? Does it even have a name yet? We don't know, but considering that Ciara is behind it, we know it's going to be good. Even if she just comes out with a single product and it helps us get one step closer to her flawless, glowing complexion [4], we'll be satisfied.

There are a few new celebrity beauty brands [5] slatted to launch in 2021 with more no doubt on the horizon, but we hope to be introduced to Ciara's new beauty endeavor sooner rather than later. We will update this story with more information when we have it.
