Ciara is back [2] with more hair inspiration [3]. On Jan. 13, the singer's glam team posted a few behind-the-scenes shots from a recent photo shoot, and Ciara's new platinum hair [4] was on full display.

In a video posted by celebrity hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos [5], Ciara's new color was a stark, almost-white shade, and her shadow roots [6] gave a glimpse at her natural hue. Her hair was styled into loose waves that fell just below her shoulders. The cool-toned color was accentuated by a soft, smoky eye [7] and milky-pink lip color [8].

Platinum hair recently surged in popularity after numerous A-list celebrities were spotted in the color. Kim Kardashian [9] revealed her version of the shade at last year's Met Gala [10], Gigi Hadid [11] took the look for a spin during Fashion Month, and even Ariana Grande dyed her hair [12] to get into character for "Wicked."

There's no doubt the look is bold and sexy, but platinum is one of the most high-maintenance colors to dye your hair. If you're considering making the switch, be sure to go to a professional. In the meantime, put Ciara's new hair on your mood board.
