Ciara turned up the heat this past weekend with an all-new rusty hair color [2] that she debuted just in time for Memorial Day. The singer took to Instagram on May 29 to show off her new deep-red color ahead of her holiday celebrations with family in Mexico. "Pelirroja," she captioned the photo.

Soon after the bubblegum-pink hair-color [3] trend began taking over during the spring, we saw countless celebrities like Emma Chamberlain [4] and Gigi Hadid [5] transition to the coppery-red "rust" color, with Ciara being the latest to jump on board. The color is basically just a bright but muted red hue. According to a tag on Instagram, Ciara's look was created courtesy of her longtime hairstylist César Ramîrez [6], who's also worked with stars like Demi Lovato [7] and Kim Kardashian [8].
